These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Humsafar mobile application, website, and related services (together, the "Services"), operated by Humsafar (Khawaja Traders), Zafarwal, Pakistan. By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Who we are and what we do

Humsafar is a technology platform that connects travellers. It allows individuals to share rides (carpooling) and to book tours offered by independent, verified tour operators. Humsafar is a facilitator and marketplace; it is not a transport company and does not itself own vehicles or operate tours.

Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login secure.
• We may require identity verification before you can post trips, offer seats, or make bookings.

Carpooling

• Drivers set a fair fare that reflects a shared contribution to travel costs (such as fuel and tolls). Carpooling is cost-sharing, not a commercial taxi service.
• Riders and drivers are solely responsible for their own conduct, safety, and legal compliance (including valid licences, registration, and insurance).
• Humsafar is not a party to the arrangement between a driver and a rider and is not liable for the acts or omissions of either party.
• You agree to treat other members with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behaviour may result in suspension.

Tours & bookings

• Tours are created, priced, and operated by independent partner companies. The operator is responsible for delivering the tour as described.
• When you book a tour, you enter into a contract with the operator; Humsafar collects payment and facilitates the booking.
• Some tours can be reserved with a partial deposit, with the balance payable before departure as stated on the tour.
• Prices, availability, and itineraries may change until a booking is confirmed.

Subscriptions

Humsafar Plus and Pro are optional paid memberships billed on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details.

Payments

Online payments are handled by a third-party payment gateway. By paying online you also agree to that provider's terms. Where enabled, some trips and tours may be paid for in cash directly to the driver or operator.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to transport prohibited goods.
• Do not post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings, trips, or reviews.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Services.
• Do not use the platform to solicit users for services outside Humsafar.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Humsafar provides the Services "as is" and is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, rides arranged between members, or tours operated by partners. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, create risk for the community, or engage in fraudulent activity. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the app or website. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
